Graduating seniors from Harlingen High School, Harlingen High School South, and Early College came together for a night of games, food, and prize raffles at our annual Graduation Celebration. This year’s theme was Grad Glow ’14.
HHS student Mario De Leon, having also won the Perfect Attendance car in early May, walked away with the $2,000 cash grand prize. In addition, a cash total of $6,000 was won in the Money Machine. Other prizes included 2 TVs, 2 Xbox consoles, a bicycle, an electronic tablet, 3 $500 scholarships to TSTC, and several dorm goodie baskets.
This years sponsors included Ephraim and Bea Flores, Dr. Ruben Lopez MD, Dr. Juan and Priscilla Maldonado, Villarreal Auto Mart, Valley Baptist Health System, HHSS PTSA, First Community Bank, Fast Signs, Tito Resendez Agency, HHS PTSA, Drs. Art and Sharon Cavazos, and Scott and Michelle Hays. HCISD would like to thank those community leaders and businesses who helped make this year’s Graduation Celebration a success.
