Middle school choir students headed to Carnegie Hall

Four middle school choir students were selected to perform in the elite Honors Junior Performance at Carnegie Hall this summer.

Students submitted an audio recording to the Honors Performance Series and were accepted after a review by the Honor Selection Board.

Junior Finalists will come together for five days during the summer in New York City to have the opportunity to learn from master conductors, work with other Junior Finalists from around the world, and get a taste of New York City.

The Honors Performance Series was created to showcase accomplished individual high school and middle school performers on an international level by allowing them to study under master conductors and perform in the celebrated venue, Carnegie Hall.

The following students will perform at Carnegie Hall on Saturday, June 17, 2023, under the direction of Dr. Jeffrey Ames.
