Norma Zamarripa, the girls’ basketball coach at Harlingen High School, has been named Region VII Junior Director of the Texas Girls Coaches Association (TGCA) for the 2012 – 2013 school year.
She was selected by a group of peers to enter the position, and was based on her contributions of time and service to the TGCA.
TGCA is the largest association for coaches of girls’ in the nation. The organization currently has an active membership of over 5,000.
