Dishman Elementary Principal Irma Davis has been selected as one of the finalist for H-E-B’s Excellence in Education Award. Only five principals were chosen from across the state of Texas.
Davis is serving her eighth year as a principal of the elementary school. She has lead her campus bringing recognition in the local, state, and national level, with Dishman being recognized as a Blue Ribbon School.
The campus held a surprise assembly to honor and recognize Davis as a finalist, HCISD Board of Trustees, administration staff, and her family in attendance.
The winning principal will be announced at the H‑E‑B Excellence in Education Awards ceremony on May 5 in Austin.
