From May 4 through May 8, the Harlingen Consolidated Independent School District will celebrate educators across its 29 campuses during Teacher Appreciation Week.
Throughout the week, different messages will be on display on each of the district’s campuses to showcase the important role teachers’ play in a student’s success. Teachers work to ensure that every student receives a world-class education, and play many roles in student’s life. From listener to role model, teachers are always there to support and motivate students to achieve the goals they’ve set for themselves.
“Our educators are the foundation for our students’ success,” said Superintendent Dr. Art Cavazos. “Each day they are prepared to provide engaging lessons and meet the needs of every child that walks through our doors. They are the inspiration, reassurance, and innovation driving our students, and we thank them for their continued commitment to education.”
The district encourages all community members to show their gratitude towards educators throughout the week.
