The Harlingen Cardinals brought home the District Championship after defeating the San Benito Greyhounds in the 87th Battle of the Arroyo and Great American Rivalry Series spotlight game.
Football fans converged in a sold-out game at Boggus Stadium on Friday night. Cardinal pride was fever pitch as Harlingen’s Giovanni Guillen kicked a 52-yard field goal sealing the team’s win at 29-27.
Harlingen will now advance to the playoffs. They will play against Edinburg Economedes on Thursday, November 10 at Boggus Stadium. Kickoff is at 7:00 P.M.
Ticket hours are as follows:
Monday: closed all day
Tuesday: Cardinal season ticket holders can purchase tickets from 8:00 am – 6:30 pm (depending on control card) limit is what you hold +8. Season ticket holders who do not purchase their tickets on Tuesday will have their tickets released to the general public on Wednesday.
Wednesday: open to the general public from 8:00 am – 6:00 pm. (Limit 8 per person)
Thursday: open from 8:00 am – 12:00 pm.
All tickets are reserved, $8.00 per person, 2 years and older must have a ticket. If you can not purchase tickets here at the office, all remaining tickets will be available at the game
