Gutierrez Middle School of Arts and Sciences earned the UIL District Championship. Out of 12 schools that competed at this event, Gutierrez students showcased exceptional talent and determination, ultimately securing the first-place position overall.
First place is determined by adding the points won in the three different grade levels.
“It is the first time in school history we have achieved the prestigious title,” Gutierrez Middle School UIL Coordinator Tony Castaneda said. “Our hearts are brimming with gratitude for the unwavering support we have received throughout this journey. We would like to extend our heartfelt appreciation to Mr. Reyes, our principal, for his unwavering support.”
