Student council officers from the Rio Grande Valley are once again invited to attend a one-day workshop emphasizing on the solid foundation of a dynamic student leadership team.
During the workshop, students will develop and discover their own leadership style, learn how to get organized when conducting a meeting, learn different roles and responsibilities, and network with other student council leaders in the RGV.
Advisors will break off into their own session in which they will acquire invaluable information to further develop their student council organizations.
The event will take place on October 17. On-site registration will begin at 8:30 A.M. and the general session will begin at 9:00 A.M.
Zavala has hosted the workshop, which is sponsored by the Texas Elementary Principals and Supervisors Association, for over 10 years. Every year, the event attracts numerous student council organizations across the Valley.
