Past students of the Harlingen Consolidated Independent School District joined forces with School Board Members and administration to help future generations on Jan. 8.
HCISD hosted its annual Recent Graduate Luncheon, which allows members of the class of 2012 to share their recent academic and career experiences with school officials. Preparation was a focus for the panel. They provided accounts of how their time at HCISD assisted the transition to higher education. During the discussion, students were also able to share their suggestions for future preparation initiatives.
The mission of the discussion panel is to use the presented feedback as research for future instructional methods. Past students were present from each of the comprehensive high schools.
