In the case of inclement weather, HCISD is preparing for the possibility of an indoor graduation ceremony for Harlingen High School South’s Class of 2016. The outdoor ceremony would be moved to the South Gymnasium and commence at 7:30 p.m.
If this decision is made, graduates will receive four tickets that will grant access to the gymnasium where the event will be held and two that will allow entry into the cafeteria to view a live video stream.
HCISD is working diligently to monitor the weather forecast. The final decision will be announced by school district officials on Friday, June 3, 2016, at 5 p.m. and will not be reverted. The notification will go out via communication channels including phone, email, social media and HCISD.org.

For those able to attend, please be considerate of other attendees. Do not bring balloons, noisemakers, posters or anything that would interrupt the ceremony or block the view of families in the stands.

En el caso de las inclemencias del tiempo, HCISD se está preparando para la posibilidad de trasladar el sitio de la ceremonia de graduación de la clase del 2016. La ceremonia al aire libre de Harlingen High School South pasará a situarse en el Gimnasio de la escuela y comenzará a las 7:30 P.M.
Si se toma esta decisión, los graduados recibirán cuatro boletos que permitirán el acceso al gimnasio, donde se llevará a cabo el evento y dos que permitirán la entrada a la cafetería para ver en pantalla en vivo y en directo.
