Harlingen High School South students with the assistance of First United Methodist Church, the Harlingen Police Department and the teachers and staff at Travis Elementary are in the giving spirit this December.
The organizations came together to collect and donate more than 100 toys to the students at Travis. To help spread cheer, HHSS students personally dropped by the campus and spent their Thursday and Friday afternoons passing out multiple toys to students.
The giving is expected to continue as the distribution of gifts is expected to continue to Dec. 18.
