Harlingen High School South senior Erik Rodriguez showed off his acting abilities during the April Harlingen Learning Community meeting on April 10.
Rodriguez performed a one-man piece titled Inside Al. The play captures moments in the life of a child diagnosed with cerebral palsy. The audience remained silent as he put on a captivating performance.
His acting abilities have been recognized throughout the year during his participation with the HHSS Speech, Drama and Debate Team. He received best actor for one act play and qualified as a Tournament of Champion finalist.
His next performance will be in district’s production of the Little Mermaid Jr. on April 15 and April 16.
