The Harlingen High School South National Honor Society asked organizations around their campus to come together as a school and help deliver good spirit this holiday season.
The organization held their third annual Operation Santa event on Dec. 14. The cause brought together seventeen organizations to sponsor 25 families from around the Harlingen community. From racecars to dolls, students gave up their Saturday morning to spend their day delivering gifts. Their involvement was on a completely voluntary basis, and all the groups that participated were more than happy to do so.
This is the third year that the HHSS NHS participates in Operation Santa.
Great job!
