The Harlingen High School South basketball team outperformed Los Fresnos to be named the 32 – 5A District Champion on Feb. 12.
The team soared over the competition with a score of 65 – 44 to win the district title during the last game of the regular season.
HHSS hopes to keep up the momentum as they prepare to face their bi-district opponent, PSJA North. The game will take place on Feb. 19. A time and location has yet to be decided.
