HHS track students place third at state meet

Soaring above the rest, The Harlingen High School Track Team had an outstanding performance at the State Track Meet on May 9 and 10.

Hayden Flores received third place in the Pole Vault event along with teammate Roman Hernandez who received third place in the 300 Hurdles event.

To qualify for the State Track Meet students had to place in the Regional IV-5A Track and Field Championship held on April 26.

Flores was named regional champion by earing first place in the Pole Vault event. Roman Hernandez received second in the 300 Hurdles event.
