HHS Speech, Drama, and Debate team finds success at Harvard competition

The Harlingen High School Speech and Debate team participated in the 2016 Harvard Invitational Forensics Tournament. Several students advanced in their respective areas. As a result of a successful competition, Grant Burbach also earned a bid to compete at the Debate Tournament of Champions in Kentucky.

Irene Tyler, 10^th grade – Triple-Octos in JV Lincoln Douglas Debate
Brandon Salas,11^th grade – Octos in Original Oratory
James Montelongo, 11^th grade  – Octos in Humorous Interpretation
Grant Burbach, 10^th grade – Quarterfinals in Congressional Debate
