The Harlingen High School Parent-Teacher-Student Association (PTSA) is filling baskets with the spirit of giving and food this Thanksgiving on Nov. 20.
HHS PTSA donated baskets to families, which were stuffed with all the Thanksgiving staples one would need to prepare a feast. Families were pre-selected by the campus counselors, and it is the second year the PTSA has organized the event.
“It’s important to give back to our community and understand our civic obligations.” Matthew Muniz, member of PTSA said.
