HCISD will be collecting clothing and school supplies on October 9 at the administration building from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Schools across the RGV have partnered with KRGV- Heart of the Valley, to participate in a ‘Day of Giving’ an event that will collect donations to benefit needy students. Each school district has provided a list of particular items that the children in their community need.
The Harlingen Consolidated Independent School District is requesting the following items:
- Boys and girls school-age jeans and shirts (new or gently used)
- School supplies
- Backpacks
- Under clothes
- Winter jackets
- Socks
