The Harlingen Area Educational Foundation will be hosting a Partners in Education Luncheon “Building Bridges between Private Industry and HCISD” on Aug. 23, 2018, benefit Harlingen CISD’s academy development, innovative teaching grants, student scholarships, and at-risk student programs.
The event will be held at Casa de Amistad from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and will feature keynote speaker, Dr. Art Cavazos, who will discuss the district vision for the 2018-2019 school year and beyond. Attendees will be treated to special performances by HCISD students.
Individual tickets ($50) will be available for purchase at the Harlingen Chamber of Commerce, and HCISD’s Administration Office.
