Harlingen CISD will host the city of Harlingen and the City Commission Tuesday and Thursday at Lee Means Fine Arts Academy and Vela Middle School, respectively.
The City Commission intends to publicly discuss how the drainage system operates in Harlingen.
“Harlingen Mayor Chris Boswell and the City Commission invite you to participate in a town hall meeting to discuss how the drainage system works, what the city is doing after the June 24 flood event, and what help is available,” the city said in a notice posted publicly.
The town hall meetings are open to the public.
