Both the Harlingen High School South Mighty Hawk Band and the Harlingen High School Big Red Cardinal Band earned Division I ratings on Saturday at the 77th annual Pigskin Jubilee.
This year, the Harlingen High School marching band performed music by “Queen.” Their show included the songs “Don’t Stop Me Now,” “Bohemian Rhapsody,” and “Bicycle.”
Meanwhile, Harlingen High School South’s band had an outstanding performance to “Metamorphosis.”
The two high school marching bands performed Saturday night at the marching contest held at Bobby Morrow Stadium. The Mighty Hawk Band and Big Red Cardinal Band’s superior performances resulted in the Division I ratings.
