Two Cano Freshmen Academy students successfully competed in the 2019 Visual Art Scholastic Event (VASE). Emerica Gonzales and Kaitlynn Miranda received the highest rating of 4, with Kaitlynn receiving a perfect score of 60 and advancing to State in San Marcos this April. Attached are pictures of the students with the work, and up close shots of the works.
The work with the android on cardboard is Emerica Gonzales’ “Something Beautiful”, and the piece with the ‘galaxy’ colored background is Kaitlynn Miranda with “Faces of the Universe”.
