Superintendent’s Message: Preparing students for academic transitions and future career pathways

HCISD Superintendent Dr. Steve Flores speaks to the academic transitions incoming freshman will experience as they enter the Dr. Abraham P. Cano Freshman Academy for the February 2013 Superintendent’s Message. The campus will encourage students to find their passion by having them select an area of study, much like a university.  Technology and Project Based Learning modules will help further college and career readiness. Pre-registration will take place in February through March 2013.
