On November 7, Harlingen High School and Harlingen High School South competed in the UIL Student Congress District Competition in Harlingen. The top three competitors will advance to the UIL State Student Congress Meet January 12-14, 2015 at the University of Texas Austin.
HHS competitor, Amethyst Marroquin, earned first place. Miriam Perez and Abby Deleon from South took away second and third place respectively.
