Speech and Debate teams compete in Longhorn Classic, individuals qualify for national events

Harlingen High School South and Harlingen High School speech teams competed at the University of Texas Longhorn Classic Speech and Debate tournament in Austin, Texas held Dec. 1-2. Overall, Harlingen High School South took 5th place sweepstakes out of 117 schools. This national tournament was not only a TFA State qualifying tournament but also a National Individual Events and Extemporaneous Tournament of Champions qualifier.
