South Latin students advance to Nationals

Harlingen South Latin students competed at the 2022 TSJCL State Competition, and the following students have advanced to the NJCL 2022 National Competition which will take place July 24-30 at the University of Louisiana in Lafayette.

Junior Kassandra Salazar: 2^nd place in Mythology and Silver Maxima Cum Laude in the National Latin Exam

Senior Reyna Avalos: 2^nd place in the Pentathlon and Silver Maxima Cum Laude in the National Latin Exam

Junior Francesca Montiel: 7^th place in Reading Comprehension and Cum Laude in the National Latin Exam

Senior Alaisha Mendoza: 7^th place in Classical Art History

Senior Zoe Reyes: 10^th place in Classical Geography and Monuments.
