The Harlingen South FBLA Chapter competed at the Future Business Leaders of America State Leadership Conference on March 24.
The team competed against 1,500 of the best and brightest students across Texas in more than 60 events.
The Parliamentary Procedures team placed first and qualified for the National competition which will be held from June 28 to July 3 in Chicago, Illinois.
The Parliamentary Procedures event is based on team, rather than individual, participation. This event recognizes FBLA members who demonstrate knowledge of the basic principles of parliamentary procedure as well as speaking ability and poise.
