Marcy Martinez has been named Associate Superintendent for Communications at Harlingen CISD.
Martinez has extensive experience in communications. Most recently, she was the Director of Public Relations/ Corporate Communications for DHR Health in Edinburg. Prior to that, she worked at South Texas Health Systems as Systems Manager of Public Relations and before then, she worked at CBS4 News as a television anchor.
Martinez is a graduate of Harlingen High School South and Texas A&M Kingsville where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Communications.
