Over the last seven years, Ashley Moncivaiz has recorded 200 wins as head basketball coach of the Harlingen High School Lady Cardinals.
This accomplishment comes after the Lady Cardinals defeated the Los Fresnos Lady Falcons on January 29.
A product of Harlingen High School and previously a Lady Cardinal herself, Moncivaiz has a passion for basketball and teaching young girls to persevere to reach their goals. Her expectation of her players is for them to play for their teammates and to count on each other to do what is right for the team.
