Harlingen High School’s Speech, Drama, and Debate Team claimed their second 32-6A District Champion title in Cross Examination Debate Friday, January 22 with the team of Jayson Alvarado (12) and Grant Burbach (10).
This is the second year in a row that HHS has won this title and as a result of their success, students will be traveling to the University of Texas at Austin in March to compete at the UIL State Meet for Cross Examination Debate.
Students, Brandon Salas (11) and Danny Olivares (12) had a great showing by placing 4th and earning UIL Medals.
