After an outstanding season, the Harlingen High School football team was named the District 32 -5A Champions on Nov. 8.
The title comes after their win against the Brownsville Hanna Eagles. HHS finished their regular season with a record of 9-1.
Continuing their season, the team will head to the first round of the playoffs where they will face McAllen Memorial High School at 3:00 p.m. on Nov. 16.
Also with an outstanding performance was Harlingen High School South, who finished their season with a record of 8-1. Heading to the playoffs, the team will play Weslaco East High School at 2:00 p.m. on Nov. 16.
The game will be hosted at Bobby Lackey Stadium.
