Students from Harlingen High School and Harlingen South competed at the 2023 UIL Academic State Meet in Prose & Poetry.
Harlingen High School senior Charlotte Hughes was named the 6A UIL Prose State Champion.
Harlingen South sophomore Adrianna Rodriguez was named 5A UIL Poetry State Champion.
