HHS and HHSS football make history: Teams named District 32- 5A Champions

The Harlingen High School South Hawks and Harlingen High School Cardinals have made history by being named the co- champions for District 32-5A.

It is the first time since the campuses were separated in 1993 that they share the district crown. This is the fifth consecutive year that HHS has held the title.

The co-title awarding comes after the HHSS triumph against the Los Fresnos Falcons on Nov.9. The game was named Valley Morning Star’s Game of the Week.

Both teams have had a successful season. HHSS Finished their regular season with a record of (8-2). HHS finished the season with a (7-3) record.

In addition to the title, HHSS and HHS have qualified to advance to the playoffs. Post-season games will begin on Nov. 16.

For the first match up, HHSS will square off against McAllen Rowe and HHS will face McAllen Memorial.

TICKET HOURS ARE AS FOLLOWS

 Monday:  Closed all day

 Tuesday:  Hawks Season Ticket Holders can purchase tickets from 8:00 am – 4:00 pm depending on

the control card.  (Limit is what you hold +10)

 Wednesday:   Cardinals Season Ticket Holders can purchase tickets from 8:00 am – 6:30 pm

depending on the control card. (Limit is what you hold only)

Thursday: GENENAL PUBLIC MAY PURCHASE TICKETS FROM 9:00 am – 6:00 PM

(limit 5 per person for the Cardinals) and (limit 10 per person for the Hawks)

 FRIDAY: OPEN FROM 8:00 AM – 12:00 noon

ALL TICKETS ARE $8.00 PER PERSON 2 YEARS AND OLDER MUST HAVE A TICKET

  1. How will i be able to get tickets for the bi-district game against McAllen Memorial?
    Will ther be control; cards and when.
