Harlingen CISD is proud to be recognized in this year’s Valley Morning Star Readers’ Choice Awards, with several schools and educators earning top honors from the community.
HCISD was named Best School District, while the following campus and educator recognitions were also awarded:
- Juan Garcia, Dr. Abraham P. Cano Academy: Best Principal
- Treasure Hills Elementary: Best Elementary School
- Memorial Middle School: Best Middle School
- Amanda Zuniga, Treasure Hills Elementary: Best School Teacher
These honors reflect the community’s confidence in HCISD and highlight the dedication of our educators, campus leaders, and staff who create meaningful experiences for students and families each day.
