The Lady Hawks softball team is headed to the Sweet 16 round once again.
The Lady Hawks have had another successful softball season, having attained the area championship title. This past weekend, the Lady Hawks swept the series with a 5-2 victory in game two against another Rio Grande Valley team.
The Sweet 16 round, also known as the regional semi-finals, will begin this week. The Lady Hawks will face Canyon High School’s Lady Cougars in a best of three series. All games will be played at Tuloso-Miday softball field in Corpus Christi.
The schedule for the regional semi-finals round is as follows:
Game 1: Friday, May 17 at 7 p.m.
Game 2: Saturday, May 18 at 5 p.m.
Game 3 (if necessary): Immediately after Game 2
