The Harlingen High School South One Act Play troupe was named the 5A UIL State Champions.
They performed scenes from “Indecent,” a play by Paula Vogel, at the state competition held on May 5 at Round Rock ISD Performing Arts Center.
Directors were Eddy Cavazos, John Harper Reynolds, Joel Hinojosa, and Joseph Armendariz.
Devin Claudio was awarded “Top Performer” and was a recipient of the Samuel French Award.
Adrianna Rodriguez was awarded “All-Star Cast.”
Bruce Gonzales was awarded “Honorable Mention All-Star Cast.”
