We are proud to announce that six students will be representing Harlingen CISD as All-State Musicians at the Texas Music Educators Association Convention.
All-State is the highest honor a Texas music student can receive.
To qualify for All-State ensembles, students go through a series of audition rounds in which their musical skills are put to the test. More than 70,000 students initially entered the TMEA All-State competitive process.
The highest-ranking musicians judged at the TMEA Area competitions qualify to perform in one of 18 Texas All-State ensembles.
This year, we have students representing Harlingen CISD in the All-State band, choir, and orchestra.
