Harlingen CISD elementary students nearly swept the Rio Grande Valley Firefighters and Fire Marshal’s Association’s annual poster contest this month.
Harlingen CISD students brought home seven awards.
The following students earned first through third place awards:
Pre-K/Kinder – Kinder Division
1st Place: Levi Leon Abraham, Treasure Hills Elementary
2nd Place: Hector Reyes, Bonham Elementary
1st/2nd grade – Primary Division
1st Place: Emma Cason, Dr. Rodriguez Elementary
3rd Place: Julian Ramirez, Travis Elementary
3rd/4th Grade – Intermediate Division
1st Place: Angel Zuniga, Austin Elementary
2nd Place: Mackenzie Saldana, Long Elementary
3rd Place: Adam Davenport, Wilson Elementary
The students’ art dedicated to brining awareness to fire prevention will be entered to compete at the state level.
