Harlingen High School and Harlingen High School South college-bound athletes made the commitment to pursue their academic and athletic dreams at the college level.
Natalie Marquez, a senior at HHS, signed her letter of intent to play tennis for Schreiner University. The university is a NCAA Division III school located in Kerrville, Texas compete in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference.
Darren Perez, a senior at HHSS, signed his letter of intent to run track for the University of Texas at Tyler. The University of Texas at Tyler is a NCAA Division III school located in Tyler, Texas and competes in the American Southwest Conference.
Students, coaches, community members, college representatives and members of administration came out to share the excitement during the official signing ceremony at the students’ respective campuses.
