Jaymie Galan has been named the new principal of Bowie Elementary School.
She has been with HCISD since 2011, and she served as interim Principal at Bowie Elementary for the 2018-2019 school year.
Prior to joining Bowie Elementary during the previous school year, Galan was Assistant Principal of Treasure Hills Elementary where she worked in administration from 2013 until 2018.
Before her role as a principal and assistant principal, Galan served as an Instructional Coach at Zavala Elementary for about two years.
Mrs. Galan is passionate about serving the students, parents, and staff of HCISD and Bowie Elementary this coming school year.
