During their regular board meeting on Aug. 13, the Harlingen Consolidated Independent School District Board of Trustees approved Roland Ingram for the position of principal at Treasure Hills Elementary.
Ingram is appointed to Treasure Hills after serving Harlingen High School South as their Associate Principal since 2011. He has worked in education since 1995 as a teacher at McAllen ISD and HCISD, and as an Instructional Facilitator at Lamar Elementary and HHSS.
“I feel extraordinarily fortunate to have been selected to serve as principal for Treasure Hills Elementary,” said Ingram. “It is a campus with a long and distinguished history and I fully intend to honor that history by working diligently with my staff to provide a world-class education for all of my students. Together, with our parents and community stakeholders, the Treasure Hills family will strive for new levels of excellence. I am excited about the year ahead of us all and I encourage people to keep an eye on Treasure Hills Elementary…. Great things are going to happen!”
To kick off the new school year, HCISD will host the Meet the Principal event for Treasure Hills principal Roland Ingram on Aug. 21 in the school’s cafeteria. The event will begin at 6:00 p.m.
Great job on hiring Roland you made rhe right choice, and I am not saying that because he is my baby brother. He has the skills and personality to make Treasure Hills the school of the future. Katrina Ingram
