The Harlingen Consolidated Independent School District Board of Trustees approved the hiring of Eleni Danelis as Coordinator for Special Education during their regular meeting on Aug. 13.
Danelis previously served as an Educational Diagnostician in the Special Education Department at HCISD. Her career in education began at Brownsville ISD in 1997, where she served as a teacher and Educational Diagnostician.
She received her Master of Education, Special Education Diagnostician, and Bachelors of Arts, Psychology, from the University of Texas at Brownsville.
