Juan Manuel Garcia appointed as principal of Vela Middle School
Juan Manuel Garcia will serve as principal of Vela Middle School after having served as principal of Crockett Elementary for 12 years. Prior to that, he served as Assistant Principal at Gutierrez Middle School for 3 years and 6 years at Zavala Elementary. Mr. Garcia has served in education for over 29 years.
Mr. Garcia believes in leading with a compassionate heart. He also believes in setting high goals for students and staff and to do their very best in academics, arts, and athletics.
Linda Molina to serve as interim principal of Crockett Elementary
Mrs. Molina, who has worked in education for 24 years, most recently served as assistant principal of Treasure Hills Elementary for the past two years.
Mrs. Molina believes in maintaining a positive school environment so as to provide the best possible opportunities for students’ growth and development, both educationally and personally.
