The Harlingen Consolidated Independent School District Board of Trustees approved the hiring of Tracy Hitchcock as the Principal at Lamar Elementary and Dr. Pamela Flores as the Principal at KEYS Academy during their regular meeting on July 8.
Hitchcock will serve at Lamar Elementary after serving as the school’s Assistant Principal since 2011, her initial appointment at HCISD. Having over 20 years of experience, she has held several Assistant Principal, Academic Coordinator, and Teacher positions in school districts across Texas.
Dr. Flores joins KEYS Academy after serving as Assistant Principal at Angela G. Leal Elementary at the San Benito Consolidated Independent School District. She has served as an educator since 1997 holding several Assistant Principal positions in San Benito and teaching positions in the lower Rio Grande Valley.
