South students competed against 1,600 other students from across the state. Twelve members placed at the State Leadership Conference and qualified for National Leadership Conference, which will be held in Atlanta, Georgia this summer.
Contributing to the team’s success were:
4th Place – Erika Hernandez (Intro to Business Communications)
5th Place – Socorro Salazar and Victoria Salazar (Business Ethics)
5th Place – Natalie Bothwell and Ruby Tamayo (Management Information Systems)
4th Place – Mia Aguirre, Miriam Perez, and Cassandra Rubio (Management Information Systems)
3rd Place – Rebekah Anderson, Kayla Broughton, Heather Lucente, and Rudolfo Montero (Parliamentary Procedures)
At the National Leadership Conference FBLA members have the competitive edge, as the best and brightest of FBLA from across the country convene to compete in leadership events, share their successes, and learn new ideas about shaping their career future through workshops and exhibits. This four-day conference is considered the pinnacle of the FBLA experience.
