Middle School and High School Speech and Debate students succeed at National Finals

In June, HCISD middle school and high school students competed at the National Speech and Debate Association National Finals in Des Moines, Iowa.  Gutierrez Middle School of Arts and Sciences, as well as Harlingen High School and Harlingen High School South, were awarded Schools of Excellence.

Vesper Garza-Program Oral Interpretation National Champion, and 4^th place Duo Interpretation
