Graduating seniors from Harlingen High School, Harlingen High School South and Early College High School gathered at the 2013 Graduation Celebration in hopes of taking home the top prize.
That lucky senior was HHSS graduate Caitlin Peters, and the top prize was a Ford Focus donated by Boggus Ford.
Other prizes included an iPad, flat screen television, Xbox and cash awards totaling over $5,000. To be entered in the drawings, students sold books of raffle tickets.
The drawing was held at the annual Graduation Celebration, which is an event dedicated to celebrating the achievements of recent graduates in a safe environment. The celebration has been hosted for more than 20 years, and is made possible through the support of sponsors.
