Beginning August 2014, Social Security number printouts in Social Security Administration field offices will no longer be issued . Individuals, who need proof of their Social Security number and cannot find their card, will need to visit their local Social Security office and apply for a replacement card, which will take 5 – 10 business days to receive by mail.
