Seniors at the Harlingen Consolidated Independent School District and their parents are invited to get a crash course on college readiness on March 7.
The Parental Involvement Department will host their annual College: My Future event. The event provides parents and students with information on financial assistance and methods to prepare for college. There will also be assistance for parents to fill out their child’s Financial Aid forms.
The event will be hosted in HCISD’s Administration Building, 407 N. 77 Sunshine Strip. Presentations will be conducted in both English and Spanish. The English presentation will be from 6:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. The Spanish presentation will be from 7:30 p.m. – 8:30p.m.
This year’s presenters will be Adrian Garcia and Eusebio Torres from Texas A&M University – Kingsville.
