HCISD’s Public Relations and Community Engagement Department was recognized during a regular board meeting for their outstanding efforts in communication.
The department received a Silver Telly Award for the video “Stepping Stones,” which recognizes all district operations staff do to lay the foundation for student success.
Members of the PR department also received the following honors in from the National School Public Relations Association’s Publications and Electronic Media Awards:
Award of Excellence in the School District Video category for the HCISD 2017 Commercial
Award of Merit in the School District Magazine category for the Experience HCISD Magazine
Honorable Mention in the School District E-Newsletter category for HCISD’s Across the Table
Honorable Mention in the Marketing Publication category for the We are HCISD Brochure
